Agglomerated cork sheets and components manufactured at Bharat Corrub are used for clutch facing in 2 wheeler vehicles. The standard agglomerated cork sheet size is 915mmx610mm and thickness as per customer requirement. The frictional and compressibility/recovery properties properties of cork are utilized tremendously in this application. Cork sheets are also used in other engineering, industrial industry as well as for pp cap lining.

BCI offers 200 mesh fine battery cork powder for use in mould release in manufacture of automotive batteries. We have sophisticated machine to manufacture granulated cork, which ensures that the mesh size and density are maintained.

Granulated cork is used in making rubber/PVC flooring tiles for its anti-slip properties, besides that it is also used for moulding coasters, decorative items, clutch plates and brake pads.

The unique acoustic and anti vibration properties of cork find its utility in manufacturing transport vehicles. The sheets are also used in flooring to absorb vibration. Cork not only arrests vibration generation from moving coaches, but it improves the efficiency too since the material is light. We provide these plain cork sheets in various thickness from 4mm to 16mm.
