Challenge
Engine and drivetrain gaskets must seal oil under vibration, heat and compression while holding dimensional stability across large production volumes. The customer needed a cost-effective gasket material that combined sealing reliability with consistent quality at scale.
Solution
Provided BCI supplied automotive customized rubberised cork gaskets in combining the compressibility and resilience of cork with the mechanical strength and oil resistance of rubber — die-cut to the customer’s specifications.
